Chocolate is poisonous to dogs, it contains a toxic chemical called theobromine.
Many dogs will do anything for a bit of chocolate, but it can be fatal!
The toxic dose is between 100-250mg of theobromine per kilo of the dog''s weight. This means that 200g of dark chocolate could be fatal to a dog weighing 25kg, i.e. a female Labrador.
Theobromine is found in cocoa powder dark chocolate and milk chocolate, the best thing to do is NOT TO FEED CHOCOLATE TO YOUR DOG!
